If your child is not attending the Catholic School, then these CCD classes are their only formal education in the faith. They learn about their Church, the Bible, the Commandments, and the teachings of Jesus. They are being prepared to face the world with an understanding of our faith where Jesus teaches us to love one another and be forgiving. Each grade builds upon the previous year and so it is important that the children attend each year.
REGISTRATION: We are arranging classes and teachers for next year. Making sure your child is registered helps in our planning, ordering books and supplies, and having enough room for all the students. Registration Forms are available at the Information Booth in the Narthex.
KINDERGARTEN & FIRST GRADE: Many of these children did not receive registration forms for next year. Please register them now so we can make sure we have enough desks and materials to accommodate them.
CONFIRMATION & FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
These dates are already set for next year. Even if your child attends Catholic School, they need to be registered for these sacraments through the CCD program.
VOLUNTEERS: We can always use additional volunteers to be teachers, aides & substitutes, as well as some hall monitors. If you are willing to offer some time once a week, please give Father Rich a call.
