If you were confronted by someone who questioned your Christianity, how would you respond to them? Do you know Jesus’ last name? His place and date of birth? His first miracle? How many miracles did He do? Would you then maybe question yourself if you really know Jesus!

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds His disciples of what He just went through, crucifixion, death and resurrection. Then told them they are witnesses of all this. We weren’t there for Jesus’s crucifixion, but have you experienced His suffering in difficult situations in your life: illness, financial woes, abandonment? We weren’t there for Jesus’ resurrection, but have you experienced His peace through an answer to a prayer, or a strengthening when you were down, or a direction to follow when you felt lost? Maybe you really do KNOW Jesus! So be a witness to Him. Set the good example: help others, pay the compliment; give encouragement! Offer your help and support – lend a helping hand! Let Jesus be seen and heard in your actions and words. Be His witness to the world.
