This is 4th Of July Weekend: Independence Day. Our nationc elebrates 250 years of Independence. On this date, many celebrations will be held. There will be Fireworks, military services and get-togethers, and of course picnics and social gatherings of all kinds. But let us remember the freedom and independence we share was gained through the dedication and sacrifice of our veterans. Remember those who sacrificed and died for our nation’s independence. Respect the veterans that we see today with an acknowledgment of their service and a Thank You. And pray for those who still serve in the military around the world. And don’t forget to THANK GOD for the true freedom we live as Jesus sacrificed His life to give us forgiveness of sin and a guarantee of eternal life.
At all the Masses this weekend, we will offer a blessing to all our Veterans and those who still serve our nation. At the 10:30 am Mass, the Traditional Choir will offer a musical tribute to our veterans.
