I wish to take this space to express my gratitude to all those who worked long and hard to make our parish Homecoming Bazaar a success. A Bazaar of this size just doesn’t happen overnight. Many people gathered months before to express their ideas and plan this year’s event. Those plans were put into motion by those same people, making contacts in and around town. Sponsors were solicited so that our tents would be affordable. Raffle Tickets were organized and mailed to ask help of everyone in the parish. I thank those 250 families that bought or sold their tickets. But special Thank You to our Chair People who were the driving force behind it all. Denise Brosnan was the overall chairperson, Caitlyn Curran chaired the Games section, Rocco & Gio Stigliano and Vince Sciandra chaired the Food section. Megan DeLeo chaired the sponsors, Deacon Steve & Karen took care of the raffle tickets. And there are so many more who took care of the food and game booths, did a great job of setting up the bazaar and then cleaning up afterwards. Even though I don’t mention you by name, rest assured, that you are greatly appreciated and very much noticed for sharing your time and talent. The final results of this year’s Homecoming Bazaar are
TOTAL INCOME …. $ 53,924.59 TOTAL EXPENSES .. $ 19,588.35 NET PROFIT ………… $ 34,336.24
