Senior Lunch Program

SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM will be starting again in March. On Thursdays a lunch will be offered to our seniors. You drive up and we deliver to your car. A $2.00 offering is asked but not required. On the Sunday prior to the lunch, the menu will announced in the bulletin and through Flocknote. Then you need to call and order your lunch and it will be ready for pick up on Thursday.

With Lent on the horizon, you may be seeking new opportunities to grow your faith. OLV is offering two events that will allow you to do just that. High School Seniors Scholarship

The Knights of Columbus, Council # 12114, is sponsoring a Memorial Scholarship of $500.00 to High School Seniors from Our Lady of Victory Parish who will be attending college in the Fall. This scholarship is named after Father Henry E. Zapotocki for his dedication as a Knight, his work in the education system and his concern for our young people. Applications are available in the church office. Application deadline is April 1st.

Second Collection For Wildfire Victims

SECOND COLLECTION FOR WILDFIRE VICTIMS will be taken up next weekend (Jan 25/26) at all the Masses. Monies raised will be sent through Catholic Charities USA. All funds raised will go directly to local agencies in the affected areas who are offering emergency and long-term relief to those who have been displaced, or are suffering as a result of the wildfires. One of the best ways to get vocations is prayer. We take the opportunity to pray for someone who we think may be a good candidate for the priesthood or religious life. The Elijah Cup is that opportunity to pray for an increase of vocations. The cup is taken home after a weekend Mass. Many people call or come to the office seeking a sponsor card from the Church. Sponsors, a Godparent for Baptism or a Sponsor for Confirmation, by Church law, are to be in good standing in the Church. Childrens Nativity Play

CHILDREN’S NATIVITY PLAY takes place at the Christmas Family Mass on December 24th . If your child would like to take part in this special celebration, please fill out the form found at the Information Booth. Children are needed as angels, Joseph & Mary, shepherds, etc. as they are in the Gospel story. Participation will require attendance at two Saturday practices: December14th & 21st .
